Hey all,
I'm currently running a desktop with an i5-3570k, GTX 780, SSD, etc etc, used mostly for gaming. My monitor is a Dell 30" running at 2560 x 1600. Looking to upgrade, and am looking at two options:
1) a desktop with an i5-6600k and a GTX 1070
2) One of the new gaming laptops with an -i7-6700HQ and a GTX 1070.
Now, all my previous experience tells me that laptops are not the way to go for gaming machines, but the things I'm reading about these new pascal laptops have me rethinking things. Am I going to see a major improvement with the PC over the laptop? I know I'll have to upgrade sooner, but assuming I'm ok with another buy in 2 years, is the laptop a good choice?
