Hi I'm sure there's been hundreds of these type of posts but need some help with my 1st "proper PC build" I'll be upgrading from a pre-built Asus rog g20 but a new flashy 4k TV demands a better pc

I have a £1500-£2000 budget and very little knowledge or parts except a few YouTube videos I fix/solder mobile phones for a living so I'm not too worried about actually building and I'm fully aware of ESD (have ESD gloves, coat, wrist strap and food straps haha)

Monitor, keyboard and mouse will not be needed
I am UK based so ideally parts in the UK
Purchase will be ASAP
Over clocking will be a probability and looking to do SLI in the future but not currently
I7 6700k and GTX 1080 ideally
Full tower case ideally with side window
I don't have any preference in what website I purchase from
Red and black colour theme maybe but open to suggestions

This is what I have got so far but again my knowledge of parts is very limited

All suggestions and tips welcome

Many thanks

well obviously you've done your research!

System build is looking pretty good.

things to change;

CPU cooler. Yes, the Evo 212 is great, but for an i7 it can fall short for overclocking. Looking at your Budget, you may be in the market for a cool Liquid Cooler :)

GPU; I suggest going for an Asus Strix at your budget

All in all it's looking solid, but as time goes on, you will probably never set up SLI. Because that's just how things work out.
If you are looking to SLI 2 x GTX 1080, you will need at least 850watt PSU

Here is the build:

For gaming at 4K TITAN X PASCAL or GTX1080 SLI is required. TITAN X PASCAL is the only card available in market which is able to achieve 60fps in most of the games at 4K with single card performance. I could have gone with GTX1080 SLI but it will limit your upgradability which is not good.

Even though I provided TITAN X PASCAL I did not compromise with the quality of the build. All are high quality components.

The only place I compromised looks wise not quality wise was with RAM. I wanted to provide Corsair Vengeance LED RAM but budget was going up. So settled with Corsair Vengeance LPX.
