what i recently build this

Although that board has plenty of features like good audio and newer types of USB ports, it lacks any cooling for power delivery to use processor. If you look around the socket, above there is a small square. There are two more of these to the left of the socket. Each of those VRMs are paired with a trio of MOSFETs. None of what I just stated has any cooling whatsoever. It's just sitting there on the board, no heatsink or anything.

Your CPU will hold you back if you want to play at anything above medium settings, and will definitely hold back any graphics cards more powerful than the GTX 1060.

Because of the issues on your motherboard, I can't recommend a CPU upgrade without replacing the board. You see, faster CPUs need more power, and your motherboard just isn't built to deliver a lot of power to the CPU.

I have a question. Did you come here to confirm your parts list before you built it, or did you just go ahead and build it?

Its your choice, whether you want 4th gen PC or 6th gen
for 4th gen you'll need to upgrade your mobo + CPU
for 6th gen you'll need to upgrade your mobo + CPU + RAM

6th Gen:-
CPU-- https://pcpartpicker.com/product/xwhj4D/intel-cpu-bx80662i56500
Mobo- https://pcpartpicker.com/product/dk648d/asus-motherboard-h170progaming
RAM- https://pcpartpicker.com/product/R6RFf7/gskill-memory-f42133c15d8gvr
Total- $360

6th gen will last long than 4th gen

You need DDR3 ram for i5 4590 and DDR4 for i5 6500 of same brand
Yes you are right about performance
If you plan on upgrading your CPU, definitely go with skylake, this sets the foundation for your upgrade in the future..if possible get i5 6600
