keyboard / mouse for gaming recommendations

Looking for recommendations for keyboard + mouse for gaming (mostly shooter / action) - wanting to spend around $Aud150-$US120; prefer to buy from a supplier in Australia (would consider a good o/s deal if postage included does not wreak the deal). I don't know much at all about gaming keyboards or mice, any advice much appreciated.

There's a guide floating around somewhere, but the gist of it is you wanna buy from logitech most often. You're paying for something based on how high the DPI can be, and how good it feels. Since you can't actually test how it feels ya don't have much to go on. I personally bought from steelseries, the keyboard serving me well but the mouse started deteriorating fast. So i'd stay away from them.
