I have a Strix GTX 970 in my Deepcool Tesseract case. Whenever I do some rendering or play some heavy titles like Metro 2k33 and BF IV, I find the side panel heating up. Is it normal for a GFX card to give so much heat that the side panel becomes hot? Do you guys experience it too? The immediate area however, is cool and seems to be unaffected by the hot air emitted from the card.

Solution
run hwmonitor and see what your gpu temps are, differnt cases respond differently with different gpus, to many variables to say, but checking your temps will never hurt!

I'm not familiar with the case but if your working your video card hard, and the fans from the video card are blowing at the side of the case... I could see your case getting warm where the hot air is blowing. But yes run HWmonitor check ur temps!
