I'm building my first custom water loop for my cpu and was wondering if my parts are compatible. The cpu i have is an i7 6700k (MSI z170a sli plus mobo) and right now I'm using a hyper 212 evo cpu cooler. I want to build a custom water loop for the same reason I wanted to build my first PC a year ago, for fun and for experience. I am buying most of my parts from frozencpu.com and newegg.

Here are links to all of my parts, please note I do not plan on adding anymore blocks to my loop anytime soon so upgradability isn't too much of a concern. Please let me know if these parts are compatible or if you have any recommendations for alternative parts. I will spend more money if I NEED to. Thanks in advanced.

Assuming you use a decent clamp on a barb fitting, the chance of failure is no different to a compression fitting.
The only upside to a compression fitting is they look nicer and have a clean finish.

@OP, everything will work well together, as others have said.
A 360mm rad is a little overkill for that CPU, you'll have no worries adding a single GPU block to...

It looks like everything should work... Double check to make sure the radiator fits in the case.

On a side note you can get your pump/res, fans, and your case just a little cheaper on amazon if you have prime.
Save ya about 40 bux.

no GPU waterblock? you get more benefit water cooling your GPU than you do your CPU. also, please don't get plastic barbs for your fittings. yes they will work, but there is a much less chance of failure on a nice compression fitting. i think its worth the extra $2 a piece to get good fittings (and peace of mind).

everything in your list will work tho, its all compatible.

thanks for the input! I checked, and the radiator will fit very nicely in the case that I picked either in the top or the front

Would you suggest any specific fitting models? compression fitting are too expensive

Thanks for the suggestion, I found the same fittings on frozencpu http://www.performance-pcs.com/xspc-g1-4-to-1-2-id-3-4-od-compression-fitting-chrome-finish.html for a little bit more, i would rather pay a little bit more to have everything come from the site

right, with an ugly clamp, or even worse zip ties... half the reason we watercool is for the looks, right?

Of course, but... You never mentioned anything about looks though, only that compression fittings have less chance of failure.
Plus the fittings listed aren't plastic.. Unless it's been updated and i missed that.
