Hi everyone, I just got my RX470 4gb. It's Gaming X from MSI and has stock 1242mhz on core and 1650mhz on Memory. As I currently own a FX6300 which bottleneck the cr*p out of this GPU, I decided not to overclock and intensify the problem but instead undervolt it.

On the same 1242 on core but 1750 on memory (I wanted it to be 7ghz effective :p), I undervolted the GPU and after running firestrike and furmark. The peak voltage that HWinfo reports is 0.981v instead of previous 1.118v and now peak Power draw from PCIe+8pin is 128w compared to 191w stock and mere 98w to core vs old 129w stock.

Is this good enough? How far low are you guys able to go on voltage with your RX470?

I already have it running on 4.5ghz, I can't push it any further due to temperatures. I have Hyper 212x but the ambient room temperature are too high in my geographical location. :(

There was someone asking about undervolting an AMD card recently, I can't remember which one. He said that there was a reddit community claiming that the factory BIOS had the voltage unnecessarily high for the factory clock speed, I think.
