I have recently been experiencing a performance and FPS drop in games that previous ran on high quality or better. I have run a virus scan with Avast and a malware scan with Malwarebytes. I have made sure all my drivers are up to date. I have checked the HDD for any damages and have defragged it. I have deleted all temporary files and have disabled start up processes. I went through my entire PC and dusted each part and made sure there were no damages that I could see. I have checked the temp of my devices and all were within normal ranges. I have even tried lowering the quality options in game and I am still experiencing performance issues. I added another fan to my rig after this happened and there was no change. What could be causing this sudden drop in performance? Also here are my specs:
MSI MS-7922
Intel Core i5 4690K
AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
Let me know if you need more information.

Theres no way to tell which software is causing it except for trial and error.

Go to Programs and Features in control panel and sort them by installed on.

Uninstall the each app one by one starting from when you know the games were working alright. After you uninstall a program, restart the computer and try gaming again.

For me, Nvidia GeForce Experience was the cause of stuttering and low fps in CSGO. I uninstalled GFX and the game worked fine and I just recently got the new GFX that no longer conflicts with CSGO.

Hopefully you can find if a piece of software is causing the problem

For me, I was pla

I recently downloaded Battle.net and JMP, but have uninstalled and reinstalled battle.net and have completely uninstalled JMP. This problem has persisted for a few weeks now so there very well could be a piece of software I am forgetting about. Is there a way to see if a piece of software is causing this?

Looks like this was it. I uninstalled a few programs at a time, and am not sure which program was causing the problem, but everything seems better now. Thank you for the help!
