PC SPECS:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
CPU: Intel Core i3 2120 @3.3GHz
iGPU: Intel HD Graphics
RAM: 1x4GB DDR3
PSU: Stock 300W

MOTHERBOARD: Foxconn 2ABF (1.20)
Chipset: Intel H61

My GT 730 2GB GDDR5 does not work with this motherboard, it stays at a screen which says 'Press the ESC Key to startup menu' and nothing happens.
I have tried updating the BIOS, resetting CMOS etc, but nothing.

What is the best GPU I can get which will fit in a HP PRO 4300 CASE and will accept the 300W stock PSU.
PS: I would want nVidia because of shadowplay, but a good AMD Card would be useful!

Thank you.

Hello first off have you plugged the display cable in to the graphics card?
Secondly do you plan on doing some gaming on the gt 730? If so that card is really really bad for gaming.
Let me know if it works after this.

I have plugged in the display (HDMI) into the back of the card whilst in the PC, but still nothing. Also, I have used the GT 730 it's a good budget card so yeah I plan to game with it.

Could you try disabling the intel hd graphics in the bios? Also look if anything pci-e related is turned of. I have worked with a lot of hp's over the years and the smaller ones usually have an option in the bios that makes them either use the integrated graphics or dedicated.

The bios is literally crap, theres minimal options which are useless and I have no choice of selecting 'primary video' or disabling intel hd graphic etc...
