Can I upgrade to a better amd card like an FX-8370e or fx-8300?

Solution
The motherboard supports upto the FX-8370 but not the FX-9000 series. It also has a warning about 200W CPU's. If you want to overclock I suggest starting on the cheap FX-8300 and a good heatsink. This should get you to 4.2Ghz but I wouldn't suggest going any higher due to the 200w warning.

I suggest the CM 212 evo to keep the price low also the cpu has a newegg promo code for $5 off.

A socket AM3+ motherboard SHOULD support an 8-core AMD FX

[strike]However, there can be an issue with lower grade boards without adequate VRM heatsinks and VRM throttling, telling us your current CPU doesn't help, we need to know the motherboard.[/strike]

Ah, I see that was a link to the motherboard. As far as I can tell you shouldn't use a CPU that draws power beyond 95W because it might cause thermal throttling because the VRM's (to the left of the CPU) have no proper heatsinks from what I can see.

Also, if you ask me, there are only two that you should consider imo ; FX 8350 for it's raw clocks for the price and the 8300 because it is the cheapest 8 core model for the price.

That's what I was getting at, I believe OP would have to get a 990FX / ATX sized (decent quality) motherboard which I would highly recommend against because then the benefit of the cost is just not worth it.
