hello, i have 2x4 corsair dominator platinum 3000mhz ddr4 and Adata xpg dazzle 1x8gb 2800mhz
using them with asrock z170 fatality gaming k6 and i7 6700k
When im using the single Adata 8gb stick the system boots, but when install the corsair kit it can even boot, get error 53. When only with the Adata - i can enter bios and switch to xpm profile 2800mhz of the adata and then restart, shutdown, install the corsairs and systems boots normally , everythung works but at 2800mhz. I want to use only the 2x4 corsairs but i cant if i dont have another ram installed before that with switched XPM profile. Tested the ram with memtest 3h 30min and no errors after almost 3 passes.
I updated to the latest bios, have all drivers installed, using win 10 x64 if that does matter.
What can i do to use only the corsairs ?
