i came up on a i5 6600k and Z170 MOBO at a deal i couldnt pass up. only thing is i dont plan on overclocking. are there any problems that can arise from this? i dont see why i couldnt use just like the i5 6600. definitely dont wanna pass on the mobo, nice look.

No problems. Just remember the 6600k doesn't come with a cooler so that will add a bit of cost. Other than a 200Mhz higher base clock and 91 vs 65 watt tdp (which will hardly factor at all if you don't OC) they're pretty much the same. And down the road if you need more performance the option to OC is always going to be there.
