I am finally getting a graphics card for my new system. As it looks the GTX 1070 fits what I need and my price range (<500€ in my parts of Europe).

My question now is: what is the difference - if there is any - between the different cards from Gigabyte, EVGA, etc. like G1 Gaming, WF, FTW, SC, ... I'm new to the topic and a bit confused :)

I use my system mainly for gaming and some graphics.
Specs: PSU: RM650x; Botherboard: GA-Z170-HD3P; CPU: Intel i5-6500
At the moment I'm using 1 screen at 1080p but I want to add a second screen in the near future.

Thanks for the help

other than a couple that are half length the rest are basically the same. You can choose between two fan models or a single fan blower style (recommended for small cases). Some might, and I say might, be able to overclock better than the others. There won't be gigantic night and day performance differences between any of them so don't be afraid of that.

All of them brands offer a reference model which you should avoid. They look like this

Some of them offer single fan mini versions which are made for small cases. They all offer 2 or 3 fan versions which is what you probably want. The rest of the differences are usually in the factory clock speeds. Do not pay extra for a factory overclock. I would get the cheapest non reference model I could find. There is little difference between the brands performance wise. I tend to prefer EVGA because they have a very good customer support, but I find myself recommend the Gigabyte Windforce on here a lot because it's priced competitively.
