Dual monitor setup has always worked for me.
Recently I've replaced my 2nd GPU with my 1st GPU - making the 2nd GPU primary (raised the 2nd GPU to the 1st PCI-E Slot, and lowered the other).

I've always connected my Asus ROG SWIFT to the DisplayPort as a main monitor, and my AV-Receiver+TV to the HDMI slot of my Primary GTX 980 with an HDMI cable

Out of the blue, I find that I cannot get my TV (2nd monitor) to show any image. My AV Receiver has a constant blinking led saying "HDMI", and my TV says "No Signal, please check power or connectivity etc...."

This is basically the first time I ever try dual monitoring with my 2nd GPU being the primary (upper) of the SLI. When I try to connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port of my lower GPU (the former 1st GPU) - the image appears. But this is NOT a solution as SLI dual-monitor should always be 2 displays both connected to the primary GPU.

What's going on? I can't get this to work.
Tried DDU and installing new drivers. Tried many reboots. Many re-plugging of the cables.
Sometimes my 2nd monitor (and AV-Receiver) won't be detected at all.
Most of the time I detect my other monitor, I can even see the resolution and refresh rate.
But if choose Extend or Second Display Only, in the display settings, I get no image.

Here's what happened when I tried to take a screenshot while been on Extend. The screenshot clearly "detected" the second display. But my TV (plugged to an AV-Receiver) doesn't display an image at all. As if no HDMI is connected. I checked the cables and they are all tightly secured.

Also noticed how Extend is working, both monitors are detected. Still no image on the 2nd TV display.
