Hi, I just completed my first PC build and tried to turn it on but nothing happen, no lights or movement. Everything is connected and i have no idea what i did wrong. My specs are:

Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB 3
2x4GB Hyper fury X ddr3-1600mhz RAM
FX 6300 3.5ghz
XFX R7 360 2GB
Corsair VS 550W PSU

I am using an old case from my VERY old desktop so maybe this is the problem? Should i dissasemble the whole thing and start again? any advice is appreciated thanks

Yep, that is your problem then. You'll need to get a newer case to be able to attach to the F_Panel headers.

Thanks the the quick reply I will check the core components work tommorw as it is getting quite late, I was trying to turn it on using the PSU power switch and the power button on my case. Should i be doing something else to try and start it?

I had trouble with this as the connectors on my case were not labelled so I have no way of knowing if they are in the right place other than that they fit fine where i put them.....

this doesnt seem to be helping as the power switch on my case has just one large header instead of seperate ones as the manual shows, does this mean that my case is not compatible with the mobo?
