Im trying to enter my bios and its just all going pete tong..

So ofcourse im resetting my pc then pressing del key as it loads, i get a blank screen at first ( nothing to suggest what key press or anything) then the monitor states no signal and goes into standby.

If i repeat this process but not pressing any buttons, just reset. it loads up fast onto my login screen with no issues whatsoever im at a loss? is it the keyboard? the display port? the monitor? im so frustrated..

specs asus VG24BQE monitor ( connected with DP cable)
- asus MB Z170-P
-i5 6600k
20GB DDR4 RAM
GTX 960 graphics card

I'm assuming you are running win 8 or 10 which dont really shutdown so that you cant get to the bios. You need to hold down shift when you click shutdown to get a true shutdown. See if booting up after tht gets you your Bios option
