So I'm really new to all of this computer stuff. I bought a pre-built PC and now I want to get a GTX 950 graphics card, but am confused on what power supply to buy.

I have a core i3 (Iknow it's terrible), 2 sticks of 4gb RAM, motherboard: "LENOVO SHARKBAY R301H63T SDK0J40700 WIN", about 6 usb, and 500gb of on my harddrive.

And another thing is that I don't know if the power supply will come with the necessary cables. If any one knows, I'd be all ears.

Thanks.

I have an Intel Core i3-4170 CPU 3.70GHz. I afford this, but if there is something in $40's I'd rather go with that. I still have the question of whether the power supplies come with the cables for everything (particularly a GTX 950).

the powersupply comes with everything you need :)

the 430w blackbird suggested is fine for the gtx 950 , however the 520w version is with an eye on the future it got enough juice to support a gtx 1080 and the 430w doesnt. Never the less seasonic s12ii's are great quality (great build quality and boltage stability).

about your cpu its superstrong and ebtter than every amd cpu :) be happy you got it man ! its just your gpu thats holding you back.

I looked at the physical space I have for a power supply and noted this: https://i.imgsafe.org/aa110c1053.jpeg. I know that the 520w (although I don't know if it's l x w x h or another way around) fits that, but if there is something that costs less, that'd be great.
