Computer specs:
CPU: AMD FX 8320 @3.9
GPU: GTX 660 OC Asus
MOBO: Asrock 960GM/U3S3 FX
RAM: 8GB @ 665 (Is that normal?)
external fan is used while playing games just in case it heats up too much.
The problem I am having is that when I load up any game whether it be CSGO or Arma 3 my processor runs fine for about 5 minutes then the speed of the processor slows down to exactly 1540 Mhz. Don't know why that exact number either. I looked at the bios and there are two settings I saw that could potentially cause this and those were Cool 'n Quiet or Thermal Throttle.
I was also watching my temps as I watched my speed drop. The temperature goes up about 10 or so degrees and then goes back down when the speed goes back up. This is all the information I can think of putting on here, ask some questions and I can give you the information if needed.
(Also the processor multiplier goes from 18.5 to 7.)
