Relatively Slow Wireless Connection But Excellent SpeedTest Results?

Several months back I changed from one ISP to the other as a result of moving. Now, I used to have results along the lines of, let's say, 50 down and 25 up. Now, I have 115 down, and 5 up.

I often see that pages load significantly slower than they used to with my old ISP, but to my knowledge, they should be loading faster considering the down speeds are over double. Could the up have a possible effect on these slower page loading speeds, and if so, why?

I was using Optimum in the past, and now I am forced to use Comcast. These speeds don't truly effect anything, although I am used to such minute 'wait' times if you will when loading a page, it does get on my nerves.

Solution
Are you wired or wireless?

Are you using the same router from both tests or a different one?

Comcast generally gives out the cheapest crap hardware they can get for pennies on the dollar so if you are using the comcast provided box then it could add a lot of processing delay.

I wouldn't doubt Comcast would do that ha. And its a different router/modem, its a combination of the two. I called them and that's the average UP speed.
