I was playing Battlefield 1 and suddenly both my monitors turned black and my pc shut down itself. So i let the computer cooldown for 5 min eventough it wasn't even that hot. i tried turning it on again but it just spins the case fans and gpu fans for 0.1 second, not even a second.

I don't think its my power supply because the light on my gpu still lights up. And i build this pc only 5 Months ago.

Also the LED's work which are plugged in on the back of the motherboard with a USB port so the motherboard lets the power through

Im confused of what is causing this problem and how to fix it

My pc specs are:
AMD FX8350
MSI 970 SLI Krait Edition
2 sticks of 8GB DDR3
ASUS GTX 660 OC
be quiet pure rock cpu cooler
120GB KINGSTON SSD
1TB Harddrive
Corsair 650 watt power

I swapped out my gtx 660 for a different gpu and i heard a loud electric shock sound but it turned on this time. Alot of smoke came out the back of the case and after some research and a new motherboard i bought a came to the conclusion that both my motherboard and cpu died.
