I bought a 240 GB Kingston SSDNow UV400 to replace an aging Kingston HyperX SSD. Windows 10 setup will not show the SSD when asked to choose install location. My other HDD shows up fine. The SSD is not detected in the BIOS. I have tried Different SATA ports/Cables. Downloaded the AHCI Drivers and loaded them during the Win 10 setup. Loaded default BIOS settings Parted Magic did not work either. Installed the SSD In my other Desktop (AMD FX 8320E/MSI 970 Gaming MB) and was able to Initialize and Format the drive using Computer Management. Put the SSD back into the other computer and it is still not showing in the BIOS or as a listed drive during the Windows 10 install.
Specs:
MSI H97M-G43
G3258 OC to 4.0GHz
Radeon R7 260X
1TB platter HDD
650 Watt Solid Gear PSU
and Of course the Kingston SSDNow UV400.
Can anybody help me?

Thanks for your reply. Bios is set to AHCI and have already checked the cables. I think I will try a different SATA power connector that is the only thing I have not done yet.

It was the SATA power connector. It is working now. Thanks Tumeden your suggestion of checking the cables made me realize I never checked the Power Cable. Guess I am buying a new PSU.
