I've the budget to get one of those. Have GTX 1060 6gB, and i've been using 4k DSR on my 900p 19 inch monitor. Would 2k or 4k DSR on 768p monitor look noticeably worse compared to native 1080 on the 24 inch TV? Opinions?

without dsr, sure. i just want to know if the extra size can be utilized with dsr? like, if i use 4k dsr on 768p 32 inch tv, would it look at least as palatable as native 1080p? i'd really like to get a bigger, better TV, but my budget is kinda modest.

Maybe we can find you a better option...what is the budget and, when you say TV, do you need a tuner built-in?

Any other features you want/need?

To me the monitor is one of the most used, longest lasting components, therefore pretty important. Sometimes you have to make do, and I understand that, but if your 19" is working for now, I'd have to suggest saving up for just a bit longer, as there are so many better options out there for just a little more money.

my budget is about $250, but I'm from India and electronics tend to a tad overpriced here, i actually had to spend 350$ for the 1060 here and that actually was a good deal. i don't necessarily need a tuner built in.

I have viewed some video of DSR on 1080 monitors, versus a true 4k monitor, and I don't know how they managed to make it look so good, but I was impressed, and I apologize for my original comment, as it was a touch rude of me. It was way passed my bed time and I was feeling a bit goofy. :)

I don't know much about DSR (obviously), but if it only works in games, I have concern that the 32" monitor might not be the best choice, for other tasks you use your computer for. Hopefully someone will be better able to assist you in making a choice, or finding a better deal, available in India.

Take care, Tony.
