usb showing no media

i have formatted my sony16gb pendrive using command prompt
later when i connect it to my lapto it doesnt show in my computer
when i go command prompt again it shows no media
when i go to disk manager process like uninstall and installing process also not working please help me

Hey there, uday1115.

Try reformatting in again via its manufacturer's formatting tool (most SD card and flash drive manufacturers offer such tools for their devices), to see if you'd be able to reformat it and use it properly. Try it with a different computer/device, to see if the same thing happens again.
Check Disk Management and try to assign it a new drive letter, to see if that fixes things up. Here's how to do it: How to change the drive letter assignment in Windows

I'm also facing the same problem with my 8gig sony usb drive..Have you solved it ?
