hi ! I live in the MD , which means it's very hard to build a rig . The last rig i built was 4 years ago , in short :

My (rich friend) decided to sell his old rig and he told me to have it if i wanted to , his rig is the following :

Asus p68 pro motherboard
24 ram dd3
I7 2600k
Lg led 12v 1080p screen ( he play on 1440 with it)

He wants 300 dollar for that .
And i have 600 dollar for asus strix gtx 1070
And fsp 750 aurum gold edition 80+ psu

Would this rig give me 60 fps on 1080 or 1440 ( i heard 1440p is better for the cpu )

Take note i am not planning on overclocking the cpu ( unless on its own )

Should i buy this , or buy everything new ? Change the 1070 to rx 480 and new i5 and motherboard and screen etc ( god that would cost alot of money )

If you have time , here is the games i want to play ( i stopped for 3 years ) :
Gta5
Mafia 3
Assassins creed unity +syndicate
Watch dog 2
Battelfield 1
Call of duty
Far cry4 +prim
Kingdoms come delevrence
Metal gear solid phantom pain
Dark soul 3
Cars game in general
Batman arkham night
Red dead redi...( who am i kidding , it will never come to pc )
And ofcourse 2014 ,2015 , 2016 games in general ..

Solution
You may recieve a very slight bottleneck in the most single core performance bound scenarios, but it should be able to play 60+fps with the GTX 1070. However, if you can, overclocking can give you better performance.

1_ let's say i won't overclock it , will i still achive steady 60 fps in games ?

2_ i don't think the motherboard support overclocking , but heard you can still overclock , is it easy to set it at 4.0 GHz , without any troubles ?
