graphics card says it is PCI 2.0 , my mobo has PCI E x 16 ? are both compatible ?

Your motherboard has 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16
It will work without any compatibility issue.

Graphics Card Connector length is shorter compared to my PCIe 3.0 x16 card , it looks like the card is PCIe 2.0 x8.
Should I plug it in any way ? will it reduce the performance of the graphics Card ?
