yep. if you're antsy and want to do SOMETHING, just check over your psu specs to be sure you have the needed wattage and cords, then measure the space inside your case to be sure itll fit. probably a good time to do some cleaning in there if you dont do it regularly and its become dusty.
as for the install, its easy. shut down, personally i even shut off the psu, then unplug the monitor and the pci-e power cord from the old card and remove it from the board, install the new card and plug the pci-e power cable(s) and monitor back in to it, and reboot. once you're on the desktop, i would go to the nvidia website and download the most recent display drivers for the card and do a clean install. reboot again if it asks, and you should...
