i have a toshiba 500 GB harddiski. now it is not opening in any type system. the light is blinking.i cant format it .pls help

if it is not loading up in multiple systems and you are 100% sure you have it plugged in correctly first restart sometimes it needs a restart to pick it up. IT may need set up in Bios but it almost always 99.99% of time does it for you.
If neither of them work drive is dead and is now a paper weight.
