Currently, my build was a prebuilt from dell that i got super cheap in a deal, and it works pretty well, but it seems the graphics card is on the low end. The model is dell XPS 8700 performance desktop. Here are some specs:
i7 8700
GTX 635
8gb DDR3 RAM
Running windows 10 64 bit

I'd like to know if a GTX 1060 or GTX 1050 TI (when it releases in a few days) would work well in my PC. Would it physically fit, is the rest of the PC up to par with the card, and would power supply ever be a problem?

Everything should work fine with your setup, i would say go with the 1050Ti though just to be sure it will fit in your case. On the otherhand measure how much space there is for a GPU in your case and check the LxWxH specs of the 1060 to make sure it will fit. With the 1050 it is powered from the motherboard so the PSU wont be an issue. What PSU do you have though?
