I plan to upgrade my modem/router soon, what would you guys recommend?

I currently have

What is there in the way of upgrades for modems and routers?
I think my router works fine as is but im looking to upgrade the modem soon, im curious if there is any modems out there that work well with the router i have currently

If you're looking to upgrade I recommend finding a modem/router combination with DOCSIS 3.0

I have an Arris DG1670 and it works wonders.

I like to keep my modem and router separate, like you have. Why do you want to replace the modem? Your modem looks fine unless your cable company has told you to replace it. If you do replace the modem you will want to go with something that is on the approved list for your ISP. Also your router does not look bad. What is the problem you are trying to solve?

Just looking for something that'll give me faster up and down speeds. No real particular reason. I like having router and modem separate but I don't know much about Routers and Modems, if you have anything that you would recommend im all ears.

Usually getting a faster download/upload speed depends on the plan you have with your ISP.

Upgrading your modem/router won't necessarily benefit you.

We downgraded from a rent able modem from Comcast, our speeds slowed down some. I think our current modem might be a bottleneck for the package we have from our ISP
