Computer turns itself off, nothing on display. How do I know if this is memory/mobo/PSU issue?

About a week ago it started taking multiple tries to get my tower to give signal to my primary monitor when I switched it on.

This gradually became more and more of a problem until I couldn't get it to give signal even after dozens or so attempts.
Note: on some restarts the computer gave three beeps (I believe this is a sign of faulty memory); however this doesn't always happen, often it's just the one, which is normal.

So anyway I took the side panel off to see if anything was loose inside, couldn't find anything. After putting the side panel back on I gave it another try in case, but this time the computer turned itself off after approximately two seconds. This didn't happen before but now happens consistently, but I was using a wristband and didn't touch any core components.

Computer Specifications:
Case: K5-715b Gaming case with fan
Case fan: Arcric cooling f12 120mm fan
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2

RAM: 2x4GB DDR3
HDD: Barracuda 500GB
PSU: Corsair 430w

Thanks in advance.
