Hello and thank you for your interest
So here's my problem:
When I start my computer all works well for a while. GPU works as it should and FPS is tolerable. At some point, however, when I start a game or any other program heavy on the GPU (e.g. Kombustor) the frame rate drops near zero (0-15). Normally my GPU heats to somewhere between 70-90 degrees C when under stress but when it starts malfunctioning it puffs quite steady 40-45 degrees, that is, the usual temperature while browsing the web etc. Everything else still works as it should be. I can watch videos without problems and such.
My old but up to this point reliable graphics card is GeForce GTX 470. I recently cleared all old drivers with DDU and installed brand new and clocking is set to factory settings.
Has my dear friend come to end of it's journey or is there a possibility for salvation? (I'm broke as fuck)
