Specs: Intel i7-4790k, GTX 1070, Asus Z97-A, 8gb g.skill ripjaw ram, 600w Evga bronze psu.

Just put this together today, replaced my old motherboard, CPU, and gpu. Everything else was reused from previous PC. After I finished putting it together I plugged it in to the wall and pressed power on the front of the PC, the CPU fan spun for a half second then shut off, a green led also flashed by the CPU for a half second as well. Nothing else turned on, after that, pressing the power button didn't turn anything on, not even the CPU fan for a second. I had to unplug the psu from the wall and replig it back in to get the CPU fan to spin for a half second again before shutting off. Besides that, the led for "Power - SW" is always on when the psu is plugged in, so the motherboard is receiving power. I have unplugged and re plugged in every cord from the motherboard, swapped ram slots, and taken the gpu out and put it back in, nothing turned on ever. Please help, I don't want all my new parts to go to waste

Have you tried a Cmos reset?

Have you made 100% sure your motherboard leads from your case to your MB are installed correctly. The right two leads can still be wrong if the polarity is reversed.

Do you have a motherboard speaker? RAM can be an issue. Although the computer will usually continue to run along with an annoying beeping.
