Just as the title says, I'm buying a Titan X Pascal and I'm wondering if I should add any extra cooling to it. Part of me thinks "I'm not overclocking it so it should be fine the way they made it." The other part of me says "Pssssst... Freeeeeze it.. Make it coooooooooold."

You don't need to buy. Since that's a Titan X pascal card, the developers designed a cooler which is more suffice for stock clocks. And you don't really need to overclock that card as it is extremely powerful and you can game at 4k resolution. After getting the card, check out the temps using MSI Afterburner by running heavy benchmarks and if the temps go beyond 85 degrees, then you should worry and get a new cooler. Otherwise it is fine

I've found the answer myself. The Titan X Pascal will down throttle at 80C so it is worth cooling and I did find a special cooler for it. Also I can overclock it with something like MSI Afterburner (I doubt I will do that). So it is worth adding some extra cooling if I see it down throttling because of temps. I remember you could get the old Titan X with a huge radiator but I don't see that in the product pics. I'll buy a cooler after I've built this thing.

Sure that's nice if you got some bucks left. Adding extra cooling is no harm. Cheers
