if my psu is complete over kill, significantly more watts than required is there any problems with that? or is it i just spent 40 more bucks?

Solution
It's good to get more than enough wattage. I've heard tht overkill can be less efficient, but I don't fully understand that or believe it.
The other important consideration tho is quality. Tom's has a great PSU Tier List that rates PSU's by quality and reliability.

its better to go bigger suffice a few $ on the power bill gives you a buff for future upgrades & not stressing the system a mistake i made & got 2 brand new dud psus it happens RMA lol. i recomend going a bit over on PSUs end of the day it works out cheaper & more efficient
