Z170 pro gamming motherboard

I updated my bios and it rebooted to the easy flash utility screen, with a prompt saying something along the lines of pick the bios file. Well I did and it says ":) your bios is up to date" then I try to exit out and the prompt pops up and asks if I would like to, I select yes and the screen disappears. Repeat to exit and it freezes on the prompt. I tried to download the update onto a USB. But when I select the file it tells me it's not the correct file. My computer just loops to the same bios screen, if I turn it off and back on. I also removed the cmos battery and put it back in. Just boots to the same screen............. help me please.

Solution
OK Bios 2003 is the latest.
Has the USB been formatted to FAT32, Is the Bios file on its own.?
Check the file on your USB, it should be ZI7PG.CAP. If not it will have to be re-downloaded. Older updates required a file updater to convert the file to .CAP format.
Clear CMOS prior to Bios update with the MB jumper or remove the CMOS battery for 10-15 mins to allow caps to discharge or press the power button with battery removed.

Motherboard: Z170 pro gaming
Bios version: 2003
I used the Easy Flash Utility 3 tool.
Internet option. DHCP or something.
Like I said, I have to turn my box off and on every time and it always goes right back to the ..Easy Flash Utility 3 tool screen.
Follow prompt to select bios file.
Prompt says: :) bios up to date.
I try to exit and the bios freezes.

Second option
Try to select bios file from USB stick(I have the bios file on it)
Says it's not correct file...
Then back to the never ending loop of the Easy Flash Utility 3 tool screen.

Pressed the power button with it out. Held it down for 20 seconds. Leaving it out for 10 mins just in case.
Looked it up got it formatted to fat32. My file name is not the same so I'll wait till u post link and compare :) thanks so much for helping hopefully this works. I'll video exactly what I do just in case I'm messing up a step. ( I'll start when I turn my case back on)

Also do I turn it on with the USB stick in the box? I'm assuming so but I just want to make sure... lol

I believe with MAC you have to have to single partition and using the option for FAT will format to fat32.
I'm not 100% sure as I've never done it and have no experience with MAC.

This is taken from a post I have read:

On Windows it's easy to format drives, just right click and choose a format, Windows automatically decides a partition table.

On Mac's it's a different story, one has to choose both a partition table AND a format for the partitions.

Drives with no partitions actually have one partition on the drive, it just takes up most of the remaining space on the drive.

Let me know how you go.

Yes it should be OK. If not then insert the USB once in Bios.

I downloaded the Bios file and it is indeed the correct .CAP file.
Go here: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z170-PRO-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/
As I said the file should be ZI7PG.CAP or it wont work.
