Just changed my motherboard to a GA-970A-DS3P & an a AMDFX8350 processor, put it all back together & BIOS starts fine but immediately after the opening windows screen has finished I get a BSOD then it reboots, on next boot I get the windows system repair option which say it can't repair an error. I thought I might be something not compatible so disconnected everything except the HDD & the graphics card (Geforce EVGA660) & still get the same error. Would have disconnected that but there's no on-board graphics port. Any ideas please? Oh I also flashed the BIOS to latest one from the Gigabyte website

Solution
Likely Driver issues - may need to do a fresh install of windows after changing motherboard/processor.

Any idea what the error says on the BSOD - additional information would be useful.
