Hi

Wonder if anyone can help?

I have a i5 6600k and want to overclock. I have tried countless times and the best i have done is get a 4.0ghz stable. I hear others have the same processor at 4.6 or higher. Im not too bothered about top end pushing like that but would like a decent increase as i have a 240 deepcool liquid cooler and want to make the most of it.

Any ideas why i get blue screens after 4.0 ghz?

Solution
What Voltages? what motherboard? 4.6 is asking too much, i say aim for 4.4Ghz its pretty much the sweet spot for the 6600k try setting 1.3v and multiplier at 44 if its stable you can either lower the voltage or increase the multiplier to 45 if your temps are good
