All,
I am not networking expert, so I have a query.
Currently using a 300mbps TPlink PCIE card. PC is sat in room directly above router, which is the standard sky one for 80mb fibre. I get about 50/15 speeds, which are very stable.
Playing online, I am seeing pings of 20-35, often being the lowest of those playing.
I always assumed wifi cards posed a greater lag, but having run a 20m cat6 cable, I still see 20-35, and network tests end up the same.
BF1 and online for other things work fine, just wondering whether something is happening behind scenes that I'd benefit from hardwired.
Cheers
