Hello there, I would like to ask the community if anyone could modify the build guide that I will link down bellow, so it is under £700. It will be used as a workstation, server and maybe some light gaming such as CSGO. Dark Cube PC (i5-6500)

Solution
Here is a build with the i5 for under 600 pounds. Get this build and on the 25th pick up a new 1050 $109ish.

Well, look at the build... Couple of weeks before I though that I will fit into the budget even with a quiet solid GPU but look.. £700 which £100 is only windows, £100 monitor and the build is under £500.. Okay I could go for the i3-6100 CPU but I'm worried about the performance of it.. Also the mobo could be cheaper and this is what I was trying to find from you and the community..

You do know that build doesn't include a video card? I left it out of my build as im guess your using the igp or have one.

I managed to fit in your entire build's main components (same CPU, RAM, mobo size, etc.) and get a RX 460 which can handle light 1080p for 900p gaming at medium settings.

Well, I didn't include the GPU because I was expecting the build to be under £700 including the GPU but as you can see only the Windows and monitor take up £200.. Anyway it is not hard to add a GPU in the future so.. I was also thinking about using i3-6100 instead but I'm worried about the performance.. I also might go for the build that TechSource made for under £500. What do you think?

He didn't make the best choices, including the bad PSU and over-the-top model of the RX 460.

For your budget, I would suggest a cheaper I3-6100. Even a I3-6300 or i3-6320 would be cheaper.
Most of what you do will not use more than 2-3 threads so the i3-6100 will be faster.
Here is a review, Compare to the slightly stronger I5-6600 which is used as a comparison.

I3 does well because of the higher individual clock rates compared to the quad.

You can use any LGA1151 motherboard. The H100 chipset will be the cheapest.
There is nothing that a more pricy motherboard will bring.

Ram is very good, as is the Seasonic psu.

I will never again build without a ssd for the "C" drive. It makes everything you do much quicker.
120gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful of games. If you can go 240gb, or 500gb you may never need a hard drive.

I would defer on the hard drive unless you need to store large files such as video's.
It is easy to add a hard drive later.
Samsung EVO is a good choice for performance and reliability.
