Hello,

Recently I've changed internet provider thats offering me 200/20 instd of the 9/x I was getting from my old provider.

I've always used the same router plugged into the modem(+ router) provided by the ISP and did not have any problems with that.
However, after changing to the new provider, I am having problems on the exact same setup, cutting my download speed in half, while my upload speed stays untouched. I asked my provider about this and they told me to use the router as an access point/pass-through/repeater, I disabled the DHCP server manually, and then used the routers setting to turn it into an acces point automatically. I've also changed the port where internet comes in to one of the LAN ports, and internet out is the LAN port right below it, nothing plugged into the WAN port.

So the setup is as followed

PC with ethernet cable (and wireless devices over wifi) -> Belking N600 DB Pla (not using WAN ports) -> ISP Modem + router -> internet

My internet speed is the advertised 190 mbps down and I often get 25 mbps up when I plug my PC directly into my modem.
With the router between the modem and PC this is around 80 ish mbps down and 20 mbps up.

Solution
The belkin only has a 100 Mb ethernet connection. You can't push 200 through it.

I've seen that mentioned on a different post somewhere, but didnt think my model would be limited to 100 mbps.
The box states it as a 300/300 modem.
