Good day fellas, I built a new PC 2 months ago and its been working fine ever since. Just yesterday I bought a new keyboard (Bloody B120 Turbo), plugged it in and started playing overwatch. After about 2-3 hours of usage my computer suddenly went to "sleep mode" while I was in the middle of a match. Confused and half asleep me (It was 2 AM), I decided to look into it later. Today I was talking to a friend on teamspeak when suddenly calculator started popping up automatically > then chrome opened and started searching random gibberish > then computer shutted down as if I had pressed the power button. I started computer again, it exhibited the same behaviour and shutted down again. I removed the keyboard, plugged my old one and computer started working normally.

"Hmm, its probably the keyboard" I said to myself. But just to make double sure, I plugged it into my laptop and have been using it for about 5-8 hours now and guess what... Yep, it is working perfectly fine...

Now I am really confused, do you guys have any idea whats going on? Oh and before people suggest the more common solutions, I have ran a virus scan (clean), made sure all power settings are correct.

Haha, could be. BTW Since I wrote this, I have tried many things including the driers to no use. I am thinking about reinstalling windows to make sure nothing is messed up. BTW could it potentially be due to power supply? (Stupid to ask, but maybe static issue or whatever?)

Sorry about posting 3 times, for some reason my replies weren't showing up so I thought maybe they aren't being submitted. Anyway, I think you are right if it was due to power others thing would cause issues too. I have tried plugging it on both USB 3 and 2.0 but no use. This is such an interesting issue!

Yes, that's how it is recognized in both laptop and desktop.

Alright guys, I have finally found the culprit and fixed the problem and now the keyboard is working fine on my PC since 2 days. Guess what was causing it? The stupid stabilizer. No, I am not kidding... I had plugged my computer into one to protect it from electric brownouts (the irony is real).

How did I figure it out you may ask? Good question, I didn't. it just happened... I was cleaning my room and I unplugged the computer to clean the dust from behind and when I finished cleaning I forgot to plug the PC cable into stabilizer and instead plugged it directly into power outlet. Started using PC and to my surprise, the problem was gone.

P.S = When the problem didn't occur for a day, I was really confused as to how did it get fixed on its own. Then I realized that the only change I made was not plugging the computer into stabilizer lol. It is interesting how nothing was affected except the keyboard. Anyway, thank you for your help. I hope this post helps someone in the future ;)
