Hello,
I have been getting pretty high temps on my CPU. I am getting temps of 60C during gaming and 35C - 40C during idle. My 5820k is overclocked from 3.3 to 4.0 Ghz. These temps feel very hot for water cooling, any suggestions?

Thanks,
Aquation

Thanks for your reply. I will select you as best answer just one more quick question sorry. I have never fully understand what a stable overclock really was. I have some knowledge on what it means, don't work i'm not running my CPU at 1.5v and its crashing all the time

Thanks,
James

a stable oc is one where the system/programs don't crash. most people test it running a program like prime 95 that can check for cpu errors. when I was oc my cpu my core 6 would show errors over any other core first if my voltage was near the low limit. of course if I was two low the os would freeze or computer would just self reboot.
