Hey there
So im thinking of upgrading my pc
I play cs go and tom clancy's ghost recon phantom, im planning on getting the r6 siege and i do play games like pes
Mostly its fps games
These are my pc specs
I7 2600k
8gb ram
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
Direct x 11
Gpu: ati radeon hd 5450 4g
Hdd: 1tb
Psu:cooler master elite power 400 watts
Motherboard: ga z68ap d3
Monitor: samsung 2043 sw plus(lcd monitor)
Mouse and keyboard( came along with the pc )
I saw there was usb 3.0 written behind my case
And hdmi dx 10.1 written on the motherboard
Im planning on playing cs go and r6 siege after tom clancy's grp comes to an end this dec
I need a good upgrade from my current pc so i could get really good fps to play both games
I dont mind if its on medium settings too
Currently i play on lowest settings and still get around 30 fps
And mostly 20 to 30 fps in tom clancy' ghost recon phantom
How can i upgrade this to have really good fps and im looking into g502 mouse too
I really need your help guys
And your help is much appreciated
It would be so helpful for me
Im new to gaming so im really confused and i have no idea what to do
And im thinking of getting a good mouse and keyboard too
Thank you for your help again guys

Solution
Depends on your budget really but the one thing holding back your performance is your GPU. Your CPU is actually still really good.

Recommended upgrade:

Change PSU to a Corsair CX 550M (these are the gray not green ones), Seasonic S12II 520W, or XFX TS 550W. More power-demanding graphics cards can degrade a low quality PSU fairly quickly.

Upgrade graphics card depending on your budget. Good choices: Rx 460, Rx 470, Rx 480, GTX 1060 (Nvidia is also releasing the GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti at some point soon). One piece of advice: Do not buy reference cards (the ones with the stock Radeon or GeForce cooler on them).

You can optionally upgrade to 16GB RAM (make sure you either add the same model as your current RAM or get a complete 16GB...

Cpu is good for now. Maybe go for a 1060 3gb or 6gb and upgrade your power supply. If you was to want a cpu upgrade a 4790 would do fine while playing them games
