Hello everyone, i spent the last 2 hours looking for a neat gaming keyboard that fitted my needs. I've got some in mind, but i want to hear your opinion too. I'm looking for something that doesn't look like an alien spaceship, and i can sacrifice leds and other fancy add-ons like wrist rests. To sum up i need a simple keyboard with mechanical switches (not the cheap knockoff ones) and up to 4 customizable keys. Everything else is irrelevant except the build quality which has to a degree be good. Thanks.

Good choices, but they don't really have any custom keys except the media keys, at least from what i saw. By the way i edited my previous post. Similar to the Logitech G170+ not 170+.

EDIT: Just in case you were wondering the G710+ isn't available near me so i'm looking for an alternative.

You can go for Logitech G170+. I had an opportunity to play on this keyboard (my friend has this model) and it was very nice. It's quite silent and cheap. Plus quality of backlight is high.

i got 3 letters for you! R G B
if it aint got it, it aint a gaming keyboard!

cant refer you to any as im still years behind with Cooler Master Storm (blue back light).. though when the wires break off the keyboard ill prolly look into either Razer or Corsair for replacement..or maybe that mini keyboard + mousepad for couch gaming.. cuz i am in fact on a couch playing on a 55'' hehe

Don't get behind the whole 'Gaming' stigma, a good keyboard is a good keyboard whether it has RGB lighting or not, even though it is a bonus.
Any Cherry MX mechanical board will perform the same between models given that its the same switch, because at their core they're all the same. :)
Included an RGB one for good measure though.
