My brother is into the Razer stuff like the OP i did get the chance to play on his computer fairly recently its decent!. But the money he spent on Razer accessories he could have spent on getting more powerful components try not to go too deep into the Razer for its price i don't think its worth it thats my opinion am sure other users have there opinions too :)

You're component list looks good enough for me i would try and stretch for a GTX 1070 if possible ;-)

Thanks

Joe
You've got some overpriced stuff which is actually kind of crap, like the Razer Firefly imo.
A cloth mousepad in the Steelseries QcK is much better, and significantly cheaper. Don't fall for that "Pro Gamer" crap they market, I play SC2 professionally and have never used anything but a cloth mousepad regularly, I find hard pads much too grippy.
I'll post an improved build in a minute.

Okay, here's your conundrum.
You can either have RGB lighting and all that fluff with your setup, but be stuck with a 1060 and a 60Hz monitor, or you can have red lighting on your case, a clean keyboard/mouse setup and a 1070 with a 144hz monitor.
It comes down to your priorities, but if you choose to go with lighting instead, you'll be severely disappointed with what you're getting with your money.
You'll find that almost everyone on here wants you to get the best performance for your cash, with visuals taking a backseat as it should be to a reasonable degree.
Also have you factored in OS cost?
You didn't include it in your original budget, so it isn't included below.

I can get a win 7/10 for £15 so aint much of a bank killer.

Sounds good, let me know which you prefer out of the aforementioned setups, although I HIGHLY recommend the performance route.
When you have a PC you're not looking at it that much apart from when you turn it on.
Even though i'm guilty of having RGB lighting and a tempered glass panel in my case, that's because I had the budget for it, the red LED strip and fan in the SPEC-01 should be perfectly fine for you.

Yep, I own several razer products through sponsors, and I can safely say the only decent thing is their mice and mousepads.
Speakers are crap, headsets are crap, keyboard switches are worse than Cherry MX switches and the lighting is sub par, software is annoying to use, they implement hardware-side controls you can't adjust and their support is a pain in the ass.
Post another thread and PM it to me around Christmas and I'll make you another list with updated pricing.
