Is this ram compatible with this motherboard

Solution
Yes, a newer motherboard would solve the problem. You would need to also get a new CPU as well though, so it would be a substantial upgrade.

Doesn't look like it. From your motherboard specification page:

-1.8V (only) DDR2 SDRAM DIMMs with gold-plated contacts.
-Unbuffered, single-sided, or double-sided DIMMs with the following restriction: Double-sided DIMMs with x16 organization are not supported.
-4 GB maximum total system memory.
-Minimum total system memory: 128 MB.
-Non-ECC DIMMs.
-Serial Presence Detect.
-DDR2 533 MHz or DDR2 400 MHz SDRAM DIMMs.

The RAM you linked runs at 800Mhz. It MIGHT work, but it isn't officially supported.

I think that ram would run on your board but you can do better. That has a picture of four units but lists the quantity in print as 1 gigabit. Shoot for 2gb for each slot. Look for identical pairs sold in a set of two. This way you would have two slots left for an additional 4gb. DDR2 ram is very easy to find and it is cheap. 8gb seems to be what people think is maximum for the board but there may be a way to get the promised 16gb of ram. Like with Kingston KVR800D2N6K2/8G but this stuff is way overpriced. In any case no need to settle for less than the 800 mhz speed or 8gb total size. I have two one gigabit dimms and two two gigabyte dimms for a total of six gb and they run at lower speed because only one set is 800 mhz but at the time I couldn't spend another penny. People buy up or find old computers and salvage the ram so 1gb dimms are everywhere. I got my 1gb dimms from an old computer I bought for 8 bucks.
Search the product codes on the chart of "tested" ram from the following link. Just because they didn't test it doesn't mean that it won't work. Seems like it prefers DIMMS with 8 chips on a side. Must be DDR2 non-buffered and watch out for stuff labeled for AMD.
Here is the board page from intel: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards/000006470.html

"The board has four DIMM sockets and support the following memory features:

1.8 V DDR2 SDRAM DIMMs with gold plated contacts,**(THE image you supplied had gold contacts) with the option to raise the voltage to support higher performance DDR2 SDRAM DIMMs
Dual channel interleaved mode support
Unbuffered, single-sided or double-sided DIMMs with the following restriction: Double-sided DIMMs with x16 organization are not supported.
16 GB maximum total system memory using DDR2 800 MHz or DDR2 667 MHz DIMMs
Minimum recommended total system memory: 512 MB
Non-ECC DIMMs
Serial Presence Detect
DDR2 800 MHz or DDR2 667 MHz SDRAM DIMMs
DDR2 667 MHz DIMMs with SPD timings of only 5-5-5 (tCL-tRCD-tRP)
DDR2 800 MHz DIMMs with SPD timings of only 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 (tCL-tRCD-tRP)"
