Hey guys so I recently upgraded my CPU and motherboard from a core i5 4690k and ASRock Z97 Pro4 to a core i5 6600k and Asus Z170 Pro Gaming Aura RGB. Before I upgraded, my Ethernet speeds were fast (I got about 68Mbps download and 25Mbps upload). After upgrading, my download has gone down to about 9Mbps and upload is below 1Mbps and the speed and duplex are capped out at 10mbps full duplex and it says the link partner is not capable of higher speeds. I'm not sure if it's a compatibility issue between the cables and motherboard because I'm using a cat6 cable but it is plugged into a cate5e port in the wall that runs to another cat5e port in the other room which is then connected to the modem and router. I'm thinking that it is the difference in motherboards that caused the Ethernet to slow down because of compatibility issues. How do I fix this problem so that I can get the speeds I'm paying for.

I updated the drivers to the latest updates from the manufacturer's website
