Hello, I have century link dsl, which occasionally I face DSL connection issues, the tech that came to my house last week thinks it was interference from another jack in the house, and disabled it. But the signal keeps dropping, sometimes for a few secs, others for several hours, I have done many factory resets to my modem, as well as cleaned the wiring in the junction box outside my house. Here is the system log for part of my down time today,

Solution
You may need to have the phone company check the wiring and possibly replace it from the pole to the house. There is not much you can do really without making sure you have filters on properly and that the modem and router are good.
It it isn't obvious to you by now this is not normal and unacceptable. The ISP will attempt to blame your house's wiring, so... do you know where phone company's NID is? (junction box), it may looks like the picture below. Find the incoming wires and the jack going into the house, break the connection and temporarily hook up a very long RJ11 patch cord and the other end of this cord going directly into the modem and test. You are bypassing your house's wiring.
