Basic home internet diagnostic and management software?

Hey All,

Have been looking all over, I am running windows 10, and sometimes have issues with network, managing wifi, etc.

Wondering if good third party software to just make sure my internet is working well all the time? Not overly concerned about security, or things that are super complicated, just managing my direct ethernet connection as well wifi.

any suggestions?

all the software you need is free and comes with windows.

just need to do some reading and learning.

the 3 magic commands are

ping
ipconfig
tracert

learn how to use them and you can successfully troubleshoot 99.9% of all home networking problems.

Wo paying anything, to professional tools costing usd$10,000+ and don't want to learn linux..... all you have are the tools provided within the routers. Networking is one of those things... vendors don't have the incentive to make inexpensive, easy to use management tools. Don't ask me why.
