I want to buy sapphire nitro RX 480 but I have this cheap power supply gigabyte hercules 530 watt. I will buy a top tier power supply after 6-7 months later.
So will my power supply be enough? If I use that power supply is there any possibility of damaging other parts like motherboard?

Solution
That PSU will easily power the RX 480. It shouldnt damage any components but still you should aim towards upgrading to an EVGA/Corsair power supply as soon as you can, you can pick up a 650w EVGA psu for around £90 so they arent too expensive but are much more reliable than the one you currently have.

well, it should be enough to power the rx480, its just it is probably a low quality unit, so it may spike low in power causing crashes, it may not provide enough power altogether from age, worst case it fry's components, while most psu's wont fry stuff, best case it works perfect and nothing goes wrong,i have not heard anything good or bad about gigabytes, the choice is yours
